Looking for Indian food near Tremont? Shiraaz is a few minutes away on Burwood Highway, at the corner of Dawson Street in Upper Ferntree Gully, and has been the local Indian restaurant for this corner of the Dandenong foothills since 1995.

After a walk in Ferntree Gully National Park or the 1000 Steps, it's an easy place to refuel. Owner and head chef Lal Khatri cooks traditional North Indian and tandoori dishes with fresh ingredients and authentic spices, and the kitchen will adjust the heat or any dish for your dietary needs.

Choose from classic curries, tandoori, biryani and naan, a wide range of vegetarian dishes with vegan options on request, or a shared banquet for the table. We hold a 5-star rating from Knox City Council for food handling and hygiene.
