Vegan Indian food: what to ask for
Some vegetarian Indian curries use cream, butter, ghee or paneer, so not every vegetarian dish is vegan as it comes. The good news is that many of our curries can be made vegan on request. When you order:
Tell us you're vegan, in person or in the notes when you order online
Vegetable-based curries like aloo gobi, Mumbai potato, sabzi mandi, channa aloo and mushroom matter are good places to start
Pair them with basmati, lemon or vegetable pulao rice, and ask us about vegan-friendly breads
Vegetarian entrées and sides
Samosas, onion bhaji, vegetable pakora and bonda
Grilled mushroom from the tandoor
A vegetable platter to share
Allergies and dietary needs
Gluten and dairy are used throughout our kitchen, so we can't rule out cross-contamination. Please speak to our staff before ordering and see our allergens page.
